Derviche is an acoustic jazz band who play their own composed and improvised music, in Derviche's world you can hear: jazz / reggaeton / hip-hop-cumbia / dance / rock / a lot of groove and some other things that who knows what they are called. From it's formation in 2001, they have released 3 CD's: "Equilibrista" (2003), "Urania" (2005), and "El ekeko cósmico y su taragato musical" (2007), the last one was made with help from The Ministry of culture from the city of Buenos Aires.

The band has participated in festivals such as: "Festival de jazz de mar" in Pinamar, Argentina, "4th Buenos Aires jazz and other music", "Ciclos Bares Notables de la ciudad de Buenos Aires", "1st Encuentro del Sol" in Sao Pablo, Brazil(2005).
