Derviche is a band who play their own music from group connection and improvisation   through a typical formation of a jazz quartet.

In Derviche's musical universe  there are different genres and styles ranging from jazz and reggaeton, hip-hop to cumbia music through dance and dub. From it's formation in 2001, they have released 3 CD's and a live DVD: "Equilibrista" (2003), "Urania" (2005), and "El ekeko cósmico y su taragato musical" (2007), made with help from The Ministry of culture from the city of Buenos Aires, and Derviche EN VIVO (DVD-2010)

The band has participated in festivals such as: "Festival de jazz de mar" in Pinamar, Argentina, "4th Buenos Aires jazz and other music", "Ciclos Bares Notables de la ciudad de Buenos Aires", "1st Encuentro del Sol" in Sao Pablo, Brazil(2005).
